Pet Attributes
Your pet comes with the following stats:
Mining power - The amount of mining power your pet starts with. The total mining power of all of your active pets determines your share of the daily prize pool distribution.
Your share = your mining power / total community mining power * daily prize pool
Potential - The amount of mining power your pet gains each time it levels up.
Sacrifice slots - The number of slots your pet has for sacrificing KK character cards. Sacrificing characters gives your pet a mining power boost; be warned, your pet is only boosted for the week and your character is permanently consumed.
You must make regular weekly sacrifices to your Djinn to be able to receive $KKT. Worried you'll forget? There will be an option to offer $KKT to your Djinn and he will automatically buy a suitable offering from the Auction House each week.

To properly idolise your Djinn you must sacrifice at least one common character each week to your Djinn to be able to receive $KKT rewards.
Sacrificing characters gives your pet a mining power boost; be warned, your pet is only boosted for the week and your character is permanently consumed.
To make this easier there is an Auto-Sacrifice feature, where the game will automatically buy the cheapest character from the Auction House available and sacrificing it. So be sure to leave some $KKT in your account.
Auto-Sacrifice will cost a 1 time purchase of $5 in KKT to unlock.
Buy a pet during the presale and you'll get the Auto-Sacrifice feature unlocked for free, forever.
Those who join the waitlist but do not buy a pet during the presale will get Auto-Sacrifice for the first 3 months for free.
Multiple sacrificial boosts are multiplied together.
Multipliers
Common: | x 1.1 |
Uncommon: | x 1.2 |
Rare: | x 1.5 |
Epic: | x 2 |
Legendary: | x 3 |
Examples:
Jim has 100 mining power and the total community power is 2000, meaning Jim is entitled to 100/2000*100 = 5% of the prize pool.
By sacrificing 2 rare cards Jim boosts his mining power: 100 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 225
Both Jim’s mining power and total community mining power have been increased by 125:
225/2125*100 = 10.6% of the prize pool
Jake forgot to make a weekly sacrifice to his pet and so gets 0 $KKT until he makes a sacrifice.
Upgrading your pet
You can upgrade your pet’s level by consuming other pets. Higher level pets have stronger abilities, faster ability cooldowns, more ability uses per battle and increased mining power.
The pet you are upgrading consumes the lesser pets, permanently absorbing their power as experience. When enough experience is gained, your pet levels and its power increases.
Similar to KK characters, pets can be levelled from 1 to 10 with increased XP requirements at higher levels.
Can I have an unlimited number of pets?
You can own as many pets as you like however it is only possible to have a maximum of 10 pets equipped and active at any time. You are provided 10 pet slots and each slot has a minimum rarity assigned, as displayed in the diagram below:
Pet Orders
There are 4 pet Orders, Chaos, Corruption, Destruction and Demonic. Having multiple pets of the same Order provides extra boosts.
Sets of 4/6/8/9/10 adds 1/2/3/4/5 ability uses per battle in addition to uses from Pet levels.
Sets of 4/6/8/9/10 add a x1.2 / 1.4x / x1.6 / x1.8 / x2 mining power multiplier which stacks with sacrifice multipliers. How high will your mining power go when you combine these bonuses?
